BIOREACTOR DESIGNS
We are experienced in designing customized bench-scale bioreactor systems for projects requiring specialized growth conditions involving anaerobic digestion, photobioreactor productivity, and continuous flow bioprocess optimization. Most of our work now involves designing and assembling bench-scale anaerobic digesters for clients conducting their own lab work. These are most often configured as Continuous Stirred Tank Reactors (CSTR) and include 2L, 5L, 10L & 50L capacities.
Biogas tipping meters are designed and built in-house to continuously monitor gas production in these bench-scale digesters.
TRACE NUTRIENTS FOR ANAEROBIC DIGESTERS
Anaerobic digesters often require trace metals to be supplemented to optimize their methane production. Through our expertise in the chemical formulation of macronutrient solutions for bioremediation projects, we can produce customized trace element solutions for digesters. These can be supplied in quantities sufficient for operators to run trials at full scale.
Our trace element formulation maximized solubilization of metal salts in a minimum volume with a capacity to add extra metal ions in a bioavailable state. The solution is non-corrosive and preserved to increase the shelf life.
LAB SPACE RENTAL
At Integrated Explorations, we maintain an R&D facility for individuals or companies who require space for evaluating processes or equipment, developing new product lines, or establishing a startup.
Rental partners have the added benefit of relying on our central lab for support. This lab engages in environmental testing, consulting, biogas system design and analysis, and contract R&D involving biological and environmental processes.
This service is also beneficial for some of our regular clients requiring temporary access to lab space.
