ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS
Our Environmental Analysis
At Integrated Explorations, we provide contract research and development services for clients looking to develop new products or processes, improve existing ones, or provide third-party verification.
Our team has a proven track record for undertaking interdisciplinary projects that combine our expertise in Microbiology, Analytical Chemistry, and Environmental Sciences. In the past, we have completed projects related to Biotechnology, Bioengineering, and Green Tech with a focus on sustainability and renewable resource management.
For over 45 years, we have built our reputation for undertaking a wide range of Contract R&D projects and delivering results in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Microbial Testing
Examples of some of our microbial tests:
- Nuisance growth and biofouling
- Aerobic and anaerobic plate counts
- Thermophilic and psychrophilic plate counts
- Hydrocarbon utilizing bacteria (HUB) test
- Sulfate Reducing Bacteria (SRB) test
- Algae and Fungi by microscopy
- Bacterial identification
- Biodegradability
Chemical Analysis
Examples of some of our chemical analysis:
- Trace metals
- Pesticides and herbicides
- Volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
- Total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPHs)
- Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs)
- And other organic contaminants.
Investigative Analysis
Our investigative analysis service provides an open-ended exploratory assessment of unknown particulate or fouling material using analytical microscopy, chemistry and microbiological testing techniques. The results are used to determine whether the problem is physical, chemical, or biological in nature or a combination. This testing is most often applied to problems involving biofilms, unusual precipitates, and contaminating particulate matter. SEM and FTIR microscopy and X-Ray microanalysis are also often used.
